Come move and flow with baby and feel great all through your pregnancy and birth!
In this fun, 5- week all-levels flow-style prenatal yoga series, we’ll explore poses designed to strengthen the body in preparation for birth as well as alleviate common pregnancy discomforts such as lower back pain, headaches, shortness of breath, swelling in ankles, and fatigue. Focus on breath work and meditation will be included each week.
Modifications for pregnancy will be given, such as the use of blocks, straps, and blankets to allow you to fully enjoy poses while making them accessible.
Reasons to practice yoga during pregnancy:
Strengthen your body & increase flexibility and endurance in preparation for labor
Connect Breath and Movement to help you relax during pregnancy & labor
Decrease common pregnancy discomforts in lower back, headaches, shortness of breath, swelling in ankles, etc.
Regular yoga practice may help in creating faster and less painful birth experience
2-3 Blankets (yoga blankets are great, but others can be substituted. Here’s a link to suggested yoga blankets)
Strap OR a belt, scarf, or long towel will also work
Each class will be 60 minutes and is presented live on Zoom.
If you cannot join us at 5:30 pm PDT because of schedule or your time zone, a link to a recording of the class will be made available to you for 7 days after the original class(link will expire after 7 days).
