Presented by
Jenni Brandon, BM; MM; E-RYT 500
Marianne Breneman, BM; MM; AD, MCHC
Description
Being an educator during the current pandemic means you are learning to pivot quickly to support the needs of your students. In this ever-changing climate, the personal care of your emotional and physical wellness often takes a back seat to preparing and teaching online classes and events. The emotional strain from social distancing, money woes, and job insecurity can also affect our ability to serve our students, our families, and ourselves.
In this 4-part series with Marianne Breneman (health coach/music educator) and Jenni Brandon (yoga teacher/composer) participants will explore ways to integrate the care of the mind and body through healthy lifestyle choices, yoga, breath work, meditation, and mindfulness. Participants will leave with practical new tools and strategies for developing their own wellness plan to incorporate into their daily lives.
Each session will include a short discussion on the topics for that session followed by a yoga and meditation practice that can be easily incorporated into your week using the handouts provided for the series.
All yoga sessions are designed to be for all levels and are accessible to everyone.
Here is a detailed description of what you can expect to take away from this innovative series:
